The Prophet Isaiah

Isaiah prophecy of Christ

Called as a prophet of God at age 35, Isaiah delivered a message with profound layers of importance and complexity. During Isaiah's 39 years as a prophet of God, he taught about the coming Messiah and prophesied of our day, describing it in terms he knew and behavior he witnessed from 740 to 701 BC. He is the most quoted of all the Old Testament prophets. Isaiah understood the plight of the downtrodden and encouraged his listeners to care for those in need.
